F.I.R.團長陳建寧與交往近15年的女友謝宥慧感情穩定，27日女方突然在臉書公開抱著女娃照片，兩人疑似秘婚且育有一女，後來他透過簡訊表示「謝謝大家關心」，也證實女兒患有先天性心臟病，目前正住院治療，不過28日卻有網友爆料該女娃非親生，為謝宥慧所領養，對此陳建寧未否認，但不願多做回應。
陳建寧27日傳出秘婚多年且育有一女，人在大陸演出的他透過簡訊表示「謝謝大家關心」，但女兒患有先天性心臟病，爸爸日前又因為中風病倒，需要費心照顧，且因習俗關係，不方便與大家分享細節，所幸歷經半年治療情況有好轉，「我會好好照顧家人，也感謝大家的關心與祝福！」表示因父親與小孩雙雙住院分身乏術，才沒有向大家分享此事。
不過28日《蘋果》報導陳建寧女兒非他親生，而是謝宥慧所領養，記者求證陳建寧，他對此無奈表示「空穴來風！」表示家人身體狀況不佳，不願再因此影響他們心情，「感謝大家關心。」
